Our Rental Service

Delivery & pick-up is calculated by the zip code of delivery at checkout, this fee will cover both round trips.

Here are the time slots for delivery & pick-up when you choose our Standard delivery option:

Standard Delivery & Pick-up:

  • 8 AM – 12 PM (Weekends)
  • 2 PM – 6 PM (Weekdays)

Rush Delivery & Pick-up:

You choose the time! Get them at a particular time guaranteed.

Important: Our Rush service does not guarantee the time of pick-up and is usually picked up within our standard delivery times, varies per day.

– All linens and hangers must be placed in a plastic bag unwashed. Damaged linens will be automatically charged for replacement cost $30 each, if burn, wax or tape was used on the linens.
– Linens may be dispatched ironed/event ready (Mild wrinkling may be visible)
– All linens are washed beforehand by our professional staff and properly sanitized.

Important: A mandatory $40 Surcharge will apply for any linen rented within 3 business days from the first day of the rental

What does this mean? 

It means if you order today and need the order to be delivered/picked up during the next three business days, then you will be charged $40 extra as a surcharge. For an order placed on Tuesday, we will be delivering it on Saturday the earliest with a surcharge of $40. (Unfortunately it is not possible to deliver earlier than that). 

 

How can I avoid the surcharge? 

You can avoid the surcharge amount by simply placing the order well ahead of time and give us more than 3 business days for fulfillment. 

 

Why do you charge this amount? 

We don’t carry all the linens at our shop and many of them are ordered as per requirement. Our suppliers consider three business days as the least possible time to deliver an order and it costs extra for shipping, handling, ironing and other logistical expenses. If you think you should not be paying this surcharge please place your order at least a week ahead of time. 

 

As a modern event rental service, we make it easier for you to get your rental when you want it. Rush delivery was made just for that, simply choose a particular time to get your rental for $19 more and we’ll ensure it gets to you at the time selected.

General Policy – For Standard and Rush Delivery:
Our drivers will only make a one-time attempt to deliver your rental. U Party reserves the right to access your property (without any animals present) and deliver or pick up the items at the place of delivery chosen at checkout.

An individual must be present during the time of delivery. If no one is present, we’ll snap a picture where we left your items.

An order is subject to cancellation when the zip code of delivery does not match your address.

The times of standard delivery provided are not guaranteed and are subject to change. For your convenience, Rush delivery is available for a door-to-door guaranteed delivery time.

For logistical purposes, we will use the information you have provided to us at checkout like gate code/suite/unit/office or lot number(s), as well as the place of delivery.

Things to know for Delivery Pick-up:
Please have all items ready for pick-up based on how they were received originally in the same place.

All chairs/tables must be stacked and facing up. Otherwise, a takedown fee will be charged to the original payment method.

General Policy – For Self Pick-up & Self Drop-off:
Please bring any form of ID & your order number with you 😉

Orders with large quantities should have enough space to fit, we suggest bringing a large truck/car with enough space.

Linens (Rental Policy):

Cancellations:
If your order does not contain any linens and is canceled 72 hours before the event, you will be issued a store credit valid on your next rental via email.

If your order contains ironed linens, it can only be canceled up to 7 days before the date of the event to receive a store credit valid on the next rental via email.

U Party does not issue refunds on reserved, picked up, delivered, returned and unused rental orders

Handling, Incomplete Items & Additional Fees:
A small handling fee will be applied to your order at checkout. This fee will allow us to make our online rental service the best of our abilities. This will not cover the cost of any item received dirty, damaged, or missing (non-refundable)

Additional charges, per day and/or fixed, may incur when the equipment is returned incomplete and/or missing. Client is responsible for all additional charges which will be charged to client’s credit card. Lessor agrees in consideration of Renter paying an additional charge of the percent specified of the gross rental charge, to modify the responsibility of the Renter regarding equipment damage while in the Renter’s possession or control except as noted herein. Renter accepting Damage Waiver shall not be responsible for damage or destruction of equipment rented except: (1) Damage due to Renter’s neglect, misuse or abuse of equipment, (2) Any loss or damage whatsoever to trucks, china, glassware or linen (especially wax or burn holes), (3) Any loss due to mysterious disappearance or theft.

We offer multiple options free of charge to choose from:

A 24-hour rental allows you to keep your items for about a full day.

For example, if you prefer to self-pick up your rentals Friday afternoon, the return time would be scheduled the next day at the time chosen.

A free 48-hour rental works when you want your equipment the day before your event to allow yourself ample time before the day of the event.

Please reach out to us to arrange the cost for multi-day events longer than 3 days.

We have a convenient location off Lindsay & Warner Rd. Please note this is a residential location & is only reserved for existing self pick-ups only. We hope to add a permanent shop in the future as we grow.

We carefully review every rental and there may be a high volume of orders coming in, so please allow up to 24-48 hours to receive your rental confirmation through your email. ALWAYS check your spam folder.

For confirmation purposes, we’ll ask for your order number & scan your ID during self pick-up or delivery.

Set-up & takedown is available for an added cost, depending on the items you want set-up. Simply add set-up & takedown service on the product page & add it your cart.

For safety reasons, items such as heaters, tents & sound systems already include initial installation.

Our service includes delivery and pickup by one of our staff for a low price, depending on your delivery zip code chosen at checkout.
